Derrick Gordon is the CEO and Co-Founder of Goby, a streaming platform focused on championing independent artists and storytellers. His work has centered on identifying emerging talent and building opportunities for underrepresented creators through entertainment and media platforms.
He helped shape New York’s underground comedy scene in the early 2000s through the Emerging Comics of New York Awards, which became an early platform for rising comedians. He later worked with MTV and Comedy Central and has collaborated across the entertainment industry with major artists and performers.

Designation: President and Co-Founder
Baron Schwarz is President and Co-Founder of Goby, where he leads creative strategy, partnerships, and the development of original content. His background combines literary study, film, and content creation, and his role at Goby is focused on building culturally resonant and commercially viable projects.
He created Hank & Willow, which won Best Pilot at both the Soho and Vancouver International Film Festivals, and he also created, wrote, and executive produced Swole Mate. At Goby, he is focused on developing projects that challenge convention while responding to the changing dynamics of today’s media landscape.
