Robbie Grewal is an acclaimed writer-director known for his gripping thrillers and character-driven storytelling across films, web series, documentaries, and advertising. Coming from a defence background and graduating from the University of Delhi, his journey into media began by chance in 1996 at TV18’s Delhi-based production house. In 1999, he founded Red Ice Productions, an advertising production house that remained operational until 2021.

Over the course of his advertising career, Robbie has been honoured with several prestigious international awards, including The One Show, Cannes Lions, and the Epica Awards, along with leading Indian honours such as the Abby Awards, Effie Awards India, AdFest, and the Kyoorius Awards. He made his feature directorial debut with Samay: When Time Strikes and has since directed Romeo Akbar Walter, Aakhri Sach, Bhay: The Gaurav Tiwari Mystery, and Made in India – A Titan Story. His work is celebrated for blending meticulous research, compelling narratives, and cinematic storytelling across diverse genres.
