Prosit Roy is an Indian filmmaker, showrunner, and director celebrated for his distinctive storytelling across films, streaming, and advertising. He made his feature directorial debut with Pari, a critically acclaimed horror drama that redefined the genre in India. He went on to direct Paatal Lok, one of India’s most acclaimed streaming series, winning the Filmfare OTT Awards for Best Director.
He also directed the upcoming feature Chakda Xpress and recently served as showrunner and director of Raakh, which became the world’s No. 1 non-English series on Prime Video. In advertising, his acclaimed campaign Band Baja Bitiya earned the inaugural Peeyush Pandey Polaris Award, alongside recognition across leading creative and advertising platforms.
