Bio: Karan Tejpal is a writer and director drawn to stories that reflect the contradictions of our world. His debut feature Stolen won Best Director at the Beijing International Film Festival and received major recognition at Zurich, Venice, and other global platforms. He is a 2024 Berlinale Talent, and his earlier screenwriting work has been selected for the Sundance Screenwriters Lab (India) and the NFDC Screenwriters Lab.
