Tushar is an Indian journalist and screenwriter with over 17 years of experience in film, television, and digital content. He began his career in journalism before transitioning into screenwriting, contributing to projects across genres including mythology, history, fiction, and documentary. He is currently writing a 52-episode series for Doordarshan, under production, directed by Smt. Mandira Dwivedi, based on Shri Ram Van Gaman Path, and developing projects with Dr. Chandra Prakash Dwivedi’s Wisdom Tree Productions.
His recent work includes the docudrama “Apne Ram,” directed by Priyadarshan and Shri Ram Mandir Nirmaan Samiti. He also have research collaborations with Sohum Shah Films. He has worked in content localization for Netflix, Amazon Prime, and other platforms. As an author, his children’s books have been recognized at the Lucknow Literature Festival and Indian Media Fest.
Tushar’s influence also extends into education and social impact. As the former Editorial Director and Head of the Writers’ Room at the NGO Going to School, he developed engaging curriculum content aimed at underprivileged children, bringing storytelling into the classroom. His research work for a web series on Shri Aurobindo, in collaboration with the SAYFNA Organization – New Jersey Society, reflects his continued dedication to India’s philosophical and spiritual heritage.
