Rahuldev Mandal is a screenwriter and director with a passion for storytelling and a deep love for cinema. His directorial debut feature, Aisa Kya Hota Hai, is currently making its festival rounds. Prior to this, Rahuldev wrote two feature film scripts—one of which was picked up by a production house and went into pre-production before being shelved, and another that was selected for a prestigious rewrite residency, where he was mentored by filmmaker Bikas Mishra. He has also worked in the industry for over five years as a Script Supervisor and First Assistant Director on projects like Sanaa and The Wife (streaming on Zee5), directed by Sudhanshu Saria and Sarmad Khan respectively. As a dedicated cinephile, Rahuldev is driven by a lifelong commitment to discovering, crafting, and sharing compelling stories.
