Good day!

I’m Rahul, a documentary YouTuber from Mumbai/Rajkot (Gujarat). I run a channel called Explorist, where my team and I make detailed, story based documentaries on global topics. Over the past couple of years, we’ve built a community of 235,000 subscribers, with most of our viewers from the U.S.

Until now, we’ve mostly made videos in an “armchair” style (research based, voiceover, and edited with 3D animation, motion graphics, licensed stock footage), but now I’m really interested in getting into real world documentary filmmaking, working on the ground, filming real stories.
