Makarand Bharat Shinde is an independent filmmaker based in Pune.He is a graduate of Engineering in Information Technology from Pune University.He has been working as a filmmaker since his graduation.He started his filmmaking career by directing a few TVC’s for his own institute Zeal Education Society.He started working as an assistant director on feature films since 2014. His first film was ‘Classmates’, directed by renowned filmmaker Aditya Sarpotdar. He has also worked with Nipun Avinash Dharmadhikari for his National Award Winning film ‘Dhappa’ (2019), ‘Baapjanma’ (2017), ‘Mi Vasantrao’ (2020) & Ishq Vishk Rebound (2024) as an Associate Director.His other works include Ani.. Dr.Kashinath Ghanekar (2018), III Smoking Barrels (2017), Mann Fakira (2020) & Netflix show titled as Mismatched directed by Akarsh Khurana & Nipun Avinash Dharmadhikari .Pet Puraan (2022) & Lampan (2024) web shows are his recent projects released on SonyLivHe also worked with Nagraj Manjule for his next upcoming film.
