Lopamudra Samal is an ex-IT engineer turned creative storyteller from Odisha. With several years of professional experience in the IT industry, she brings structural discipline, analytical precision, and clarity of thought to her storytelling and content creation.

She now works as Creative Head at an ad agency Brands&Com, where she writes scripts and edits ads for big brands like Samsung, Ponds, Kamal Watch, and Government tourism projects — all in the Odia language.

Recently, her podcast show (Wisdom of Odisha) has been nominated for Best Podcast by OTV Insight. She participated in the SWA ScriptLab, and is awaiting results.

Lopamudra is currently taking screenwriting workshops at Whistling Woods and online sessions from Cininfo. She loves talking to people, understanding life from their point of view, and draws most of her stories from true events. Her favorite genres are socio-political thrillers and social dramas.
