An advertising media professional with over 9 years of experience in working for MNC agencies like Leo Burnett, Mudra Communications, OMD Dubai and IBM. Worked on brands from different verticals in Banking Clients,FMCG, Telecom and Automobiles.. My international exposure while working in the Middle East – Dubai gave me a deeper understanding of international cultures that helped me in my thinking and outlook to life as well. My interest to write came when I was advised and motivated by a senior colleague that I must pursue a career in writing as I would write a lot of content for brands during media campaigns. To assess myself I opened my first blog and started to write different topics and eventually I was one of the top 20 winners in the Ariel contest “Make Sunday Sonday” That gave me the confidence to write and from there on a journey of writing started. But my dream was always to write for movies. I am currently based in Singapore and this place has given me an international exposure to multi – cultures and also a break in writing. I collaborate with a well-known Singapore based production house and have scripts freezed with them for Tamil TV drama in MediaCorp’s Vasantham Channel. Having being brought up and studied in Mumbai I have grown- up watching Bollywood films I am fluent in writing and speaking Hindi. Hence writing for Pan- India – South+ Hindi films is my aspiration. Some of my liked genres are Romcom, Slice of Life, Family drama Spy thriller, Female protagonists-based stories, crime thriller, action etc. I have done a screenwriting course at LA SALLE College of Arts Singapore and has completed a short film script. I have also taken a screenwriting workshop with Mayur Puri – a well-known screenwriter in Bollywood.
