Anshul, a self-taught filmmaker, began with documentariesโdirecting 35 films for UNICEF and writing A Thin Red Ribbon (PSBT, 2014). His debut short The School Bag (2016) became one of Indiaโs most acclaimed films. Transitioning into cinematography, he lensed features in Bhutan, Punjab, and a Hindi film 4 SUM (2018). In 2020, Indiaโs Tribal Ministry commissioned him to direct 10 documentaries on tribal languages. With over 150 micro-documentaries directed, his latest short, A Night After All, has earned prestigious national and international awards, cementing his reputation as a versatile storyteller.
