Akshita, an FTII Pune alumnus and former journalist with The Times of India (800+ articles), has over 8 years of experience spanning films, web shows, podcasts, and campaigns. She co-directed the podcast The Dark Side for Vice India and wrote the dialogues for a Zee5 web series Familiar Families and the 30-episode show Need to Know for Dailyhunt, Weirdass Comedy. Akshita has collaborated on projects for TVF, Carnival Motion Pictures, Friday Storytellers, Weirdass Comedy, and Hindustan Times, Titan, Pepsico, Shopmatic, Spotify, UNICEF. She has written and directed plays for Bombay Theatre Company, co-authored the book Days and Nights, and created docu-fiction for Pradan India. Recognized as one of the Young Creative Minds of India at IFFI Goa 2022, and Creative Mind Champion at IFFI Goa 2024 her portfolio showcases her storytelling versatility and creative impact.  She has also worked on national campaigns for Flipkart and JK Paper and contributed to music videos for Warner Music (nominated at the Berlin Music Video Awards). She also led writing teams at PocketFM US, creating shows for the US market. As founder of LoopInOut, Akshita launched India’s first emotional well-being board game. For LoopInOut she also directed ad campaigns for brands like Shunya India. Her startup also collaborated with big brands like FICCIFlo, TTOX Bangalore, CDH, Cafe Commune and Social.
