If there’s an escape from banality in life, that has to be cinema according to me. Because cinema is an amalgamation of everything we like. It can be as simple as a Golgappa that we relish on the street. But cinema has the ability to capture the essence of savouring the Golgappa with an extreme close up and a cool music in the background accompanied by thoughts about your girlfriend and a vintage poster of your favourite director’s movie playing opposite to where you’re standing and taking a munch as you look at it with dreams as well as tears (in case the theeka is a bit too much)in your eyes.
