Sudhir Mishra is an Indian film director and screenwriter with over 30 years of experience in the Hindi film industry. He is widely regarded for his realistic storytelling style and character-driven narratives. His acclaimed films include Dharavi (1992), Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi (2005), Chameli (2003), Serious Men (2020), and Afwaah (2023).
His work has been recognised with several National Film Awards, a Filmfare Award, and the French honour Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres. Sudhir Mishra continues to be a vital voice in Indian cinema, admired for the depth and integrity of his filmmaking.
