About the Speakers

Speaker: Christian Richter
Designation: Managing Director, ARRI
Bio: Christian Richter was appointed Managing Director Sales & Rental of the Arnold & Richter Cine Technik GmbH in Munich, Germany, in February 2025. In this position, he is responsible for overseeing the company’s global sales endeavors across business units and subsidiaries. He also oversees the business units Lighting and ARRI Rental. Before coming to ARRI, Christian Richter spent 20 years at the Eastman Kodak Company working for their motion picture division as Vice President Pictures & Entertainment as well as Director of Sales & Marketing. In November 2017, ARRI brought Christian Richter on board to establish the ARRI Certified PreOwned Program. Several short years later, he was trusted with the additional task of General Manager Sales Region EMEAI (Europe, Middle East, Africa, and India). At the beginning of 2024, Christian Richter became Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing at ARRI, and ten months later Senior Vice President of Sales & Rental.

Speaker: Manu Anand
Designation: Cinematographer
Bio: Manu Anand is an award-winning cinematographer known for blending technical precision with a strong visual signature. A Filmfare Award winner for Dum Laga Ke Haisha (2015), he is recognized for designing a film’s overall visual identity from the concept stage—shaping lighting, color, mood, and VFX integration into a cohesive language. His diverse body of work includes Shuddh Desi Romance, Fan, Zero, Dhamaka, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 & 3, each highlighting his ability to adapt across genres while maintaining a distinctive eye for detail. With a reputation for collaboration and innovation, Anand continues to be one of Bollywood’s most sought-after cinematographers, trusted to deliver both artistic vision and cinematic scale.

Speaker: Andreas Bruckl
Designation: Colorist
Bio: With over 20 years of experience across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, Andreas Bruckl has shaped the visual language of acclaimed titles like Citadel, Delhi Crime, Sacred Games, Paatal Lok, Emergency, and Maidaan. Known for blending international aesthetics with local storytelling, he’s a pioneer in ACES, HDR, and cutting-edge post-production workflows. His international career spans: Germany and freelancing across Europe, 4 years in Istanbul, work at Pinewood Studios Malaysia including projects in Tokyo, creative leadership in India since 2017, a stint in the UAE during the pandemic, and now, part of DNEG India. Andreas continues to bridge global and regional narratives—one frame at a time.

Speaker: Amit Roy
Designation: Cinematographer/Director
Bio: Amit Roy is an acclaimed cinematographer and director whose journey with the camera began in his teens through his uncle’s 16mm films. Starting with TV for BBC, CNN, and MTV, he soon made his mark with Ishq Vishq before redefining Bollywood visuals in Ram Gopal Varma’s Sarkar. He has since shot films like Dum Maro Dum, Dunki (winning Best Cinematography), Animal (Filmfare nominee), and Deva. A Cannes Gold Lion winner for advertising, he also directed Running Shaadi. His recent works include Netflix’s SHE and Gandhari. Known for blending light, shadow, and grit, Amit continues shaping Indian cinema’s visual language.
