About the Speaker: Divy Nidhi Sharma

Designation: Screenwriter, Lyricist, and Poet

Bio: Divy Nidhi Sharma is a screenwriter, lyricist, and poet with over 15 years of experience in the industry. Raised across villages and small towns of Western Uttar Pradesh, he brings an authentic voice to stories rooted in the Indian heartland. A graduate of Aligarh Muslim University, Divy moved to Mumbai to pursue screenwriting, navigating odd jobs before establishing himself as a writer across formats—films, OTT, and television. His latest project Sitaare Zameen Par, written by him, released on 20th June.

He has also served as dialogue writer on acclaimed shows like Heeramandi, Freedom at Midnight, Anupamaa, and Laapataa Ladies. Known for his passion for commercial Hindi cinema and storytelling that resonates with the masses, Divy also performs at poetry and storytelling shows. For him, a full house in Meerut or a top TRP often matters more than a glowing review.
